A big part of my work and my artistic expression is how can my work relate to current discussions and social political climates, it ethically right for me to document the events of my community in the wake of everything going on. The images I have curated are selected from the protests I have been to as well as my latest work, Waves, a photo series. A photo series exploring how the ocean is not only a reflection of history, protection, and beauty, and how it is a big part in the Black identity.
